Now on the 3rd Edition.
Bad Moon Rising is a song written by John Fogerty and originally performed by the band, Creedence Clearwater Revival. Released in April, 1969, the song enjoyed considerable commercial success. Upwards of twenty other bands have since performed a cover of the tune, a tune which enjoys airplay even today. Truly, a trend setting composition.
The song refers to “trouble” coming, warns of different upcoming apocalyptic situations with a chorus stating, “Don’t go out tonight, there’s a bad moon on the rise…”
The characters in First Strike may seem to some readers to be preternaturally prepared. I can assure you, Gentle Reader, this is far more normal than you might be willing to believe. Being able to move out and head for a prepared location to ride out a disaster is not only possible, but a regular occurrence for many today. Ask any resident of the North American Gulf Coast or of the other hurricane prone areas in the world how prepared they are to move out on short notice.
The better question to ask – How prepared are you for a “Bad Moon Rising”?
This, the 3rd Edition, has sample chapters from “Going Home” the next book in the World of the Chernyi series.
Enjoy
